Details

On top of being one of the most sustainable forms of tourism, cycling tourism positively impacts the local economy. Cycling tourists spend more on average than other types of travellers, but more data is needed to document the direct, indirect and induced economic impacts of this industry. In this keynote, the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF) will release a new publication comparing the economic impact of cycling tourism on four European countries, based on national studies.
