Subtheme: 1. Multi-purpose cycle route networks
EuroVelo routes often form the backbone of national or local cycle route networks and can be used by commuters and tourists alike. Routes interact just as different users do. From the European cycle route network and its principles to flexible local node networks, this session explores how the pieces of this puzzle come together while striving to create attractive, safe and continuous routes.

Urban planner and designer with international experience, lifelong cyclist, and a EuroVelo 6 inspector. Active cycling advocate in Nantes (France), involved in the local associations, while also developing professional expertise in cycle infrastructure. Passionate about creating safer, more accessible cities through sustainable mobility and thoughtful urban design.

Biography
Florence Grégoire is EuroVelo and Projects Officer at the European Cyclists’ Federation, focusing on the European Certification Standard, GIS data, route network and quality. She co‑founded Women in Cycling and holds Master’s degrees in Physics and Philosophy. She enjoys reading, writing and exploring new places by bicycle.

Biography
An avid cyclist who has explored over 40 countries by bike. Drawing on this experience, he works in Małopolska as a member of the Cycling Development Team, creating bike maps, promoting routes, and developing regional and EuroVelo networks that connect urban, rural, and natural areas for all types of cyclists.

Biography
Robin is a sustainable mobility consultant at Mobycon. He works with cycling projects ranging from cycle network planning to attractive street design in an international context. Biography
25 years’ experience in the UK’s transport department. First on a new London and Paris high speed line (HS1) and then on land acquisition for HS2 to Birmingham. I’ve also developed policy to repurpose historic rail infrastructure—such as disused viaducts, bridges, and tunnels—to reconnect communities and support tourism.
