Nynke Cuperus is a television reporter and presenter at Omroep Brabant, a regional public broadcaster, and works as an editor and voice-over for NOS, the Netherlands’ national public broadcaster. She also creates stories for various cycling publications and media outlets. For her, cycling is more than a way of travelling; it is one of the best ways to truly experience a destination.

Susanne Schilderman is Alderman for Finance, including Procurement and Legal Affairs, Economic Affairs and the Circular Economy, Public Space and Green Areas, Eastern Area Development, and the districts of Oost and Leidsche Rijn. She is committed to ensuring the municipality remains financially healthy, fostering a sustainable future, and creating attractive neighbourhoods for all residents. Outside work, Susanne is a passionate cyclist. She loves embarking on long-distance cycling holidays, both in the Netherlands and abroad, exploring new landscapes and communities from the saddle. The sense of freedom, adventure and discovery that comes with these journeys continues to inspire her both personally and professionally.

Henk Swarttouw is President of the European Cyclists’ Federation since 2021. Before joining European cycling advocacy, Henk has been a professional diplomat in the Dutch foreign service for 30+ years. He is now an independent advisor on sustainable mobility and international cooperation and thinks a lot about how to improve conditions for cyclists and increase cycling levels across the board. Henk is a certified EuroVelo route inspector and served on the EuroVelo Council 2019-2025.
