Registration for the 23rd International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) Conference can be done in a few simple, consecutive steps. Just follow the instructions on your screen on each of the steps to go through the registration process.

Stipends

Thanks to the ICADTS Foundation and Foundation Drugs and Driving Research Group, stipends have been made available for 9 Young Scientists and 3 professionals from low and middle income countries (LMIC). Excursion: Discover Pittoresque Delfshaven

Delfshaven is the Amsterdam of Rotterdam, a special Rotterdam heritage area with old Dutch facades lining the canal. It is a charming and interesting neighbourhood with its layered stories, from the Pilgrim fathers and historical wealth to today’s multicultural diversity. Its corridor layout with bridges crossing the canal forms the perfect stage for an informal and extraordinary ICADTS T2022 networking afternoon. A host will take you by tram from De Doelen (conference venue) to Delfshaven. Here you can wander around at your own pace, chat with fellow delegates, enjoy the scenery, cross little bridges to join new acquaintances; the (outside) floor is yours! Halfway, at the Pelgrim beer brewery, they will elaborate on the making of. Walking around you will meet our friendly Rotterdam guides who will show you the mill, and share stories about Delfshaven, the architecture and historical & contemporary heroes. And for sure about Rotterdam in general, feel free to ask your questions! After your walks & talks you will gather all together again for closing drinks. Of course we make sure you will enjoy typical Dutch tasty treats such as cheese and bitterballen. A very complete Discover Delfshaven excursion to top off your Rotterdam ICADTS T2022!

Terms and Conditions
Payment conditions 14 days after registration date and at least before the start of the conference. Payment Methods We accept payments by credit card (VISA, Mastercard), bank transfer and iDEAL (Dutch participants). We cannot accept payment by check and debit card. Any additional fees (e.g. bank charges) are at own expense. Payment of the applicable registration fee must have been made within 14 days after registration or at least before the start of the 23rd International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) Conference to secure your participation. Cancellation Policy Cancellation of registration has to be made in writing and sent to the ICADTS T2022 Secretariat (t2022@congressbydesign.com). • For cancellations received up to and including 28 May 2022, a cancellation fee of 25% will be charged. After this date, or if the participant fails to attend the meeting for any reason whatsoever, regrettably no refund (registration fee and social events) can be made. • Name changes are not accepted, unless the participant is from the same company. A handling fee of EUR 30 per registration will be charged for every modification received after 28 May 2022. If, for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, the symposium is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after deduction of expenses incurred by the symposium. All refunds will be processed after the event. Invoice You will receive your invoice in the confirmation e-mail upon registration. IMPORTANT When you agree to these Terms and Conditions and press "next" at the bottom of this page, you are committing to paying the applicable registration fee. This means if you cancel before you transferred the payment, you are still obliged to pay the cancellation fee (as stated above under the Cancellation Policy). This is also the case if you do not show up at the conference. Travel and Health Insurance It is strongly recommended that participants take out insurance to cover loss (including registration fees) incurred in case of cancellation, medical expenses and damage to or loss of personal effects. The organizers of the 23rd International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) Conference will not be responsible for any medical costs incurred by participants. Congress by design and/or the Local Host Committee will not accept liability for personal injuries and/or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference or during any social activities. Liability Congress by design and the Local Host Committee is in no event liable for acts or defaults in the event of injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity of any kind whatsoever during arrangements organized through contractors or the employees of such contractors in carrying out services. Hotel and transportation services are subject to the terms and conditions under which they are offered to the public in general. The Local Host Committee reserves the right to make changes were deemed necessary, without prior notice to parties concerned. All disputes are subject to the Dutch law. Cancellation of conference It is mutually agreed that in the event of total or partial cancellation of the conference due to fire, strike, natural disaster (either threatened or actual), government regulations or causes which would prevent its scheduled opening or continuance, the contractual relationship between the organizers of the 23rd International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) Conference and the participant will be terminated immediately and the organizers of the 23rd International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) Conference shall determine an equitable basis for the eventual refund of a portion of the registration or other fees after due consideration of expenditures and commitments already made. Under no circumstances are the organizers of the 23rd International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) Conference responsible for any participant expenses (such as travel and lodging) or any other incidental or consequential damages.
