Registration for the National Open Science Festival 2024 and/or the preceding OCS-NL Open Science Barcamp Satellite Event can be done in a few simple steps. Please follow the instructions accordingly.

Participants are advised that photographs and video recordings may be taken during the National Open Science Festival 2024 and during the OSC-NL Barcamp. Please indicate whether you consent to the publication, release, exhibition, and reproduction of these materials by the Meeting Secretariat.

OSC-NL Open Science Barcamp

On Monday, October 21st, 2024, the Open Science Barcamp will take center stage. Its open 'unconference' format -where the topics of all sessions are determined on the spot- supports lively discussions, development of new ideas, and knowledge exchange amongst peers. With no predefined speakers, participants actively engage with each other to delve into areas of mutual interest. The Barcamp brings together both novices and experts in Open Science.

National Open Science Festival

On Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, the National Open Science Festival awaits. This vibrant gathering features keynote speakers, workshops, and ample opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals passionate about Open Science. It's a day designed to inspire, educate, and foster collaboration within the Open Science community.

    • Closing drinks, including cold and warm snacks, to wrap up the day's festivities.

The Barcamp is one of the events organised by the bottom up network of open science communities, for members and others to (re)connect and build their network. The National Open Science Festival is co-organized by members of the local Open Science Communities, which are part of a national network focused on exchanging ideas, information and events on Open Science. Hotel

Open Science NL would like to assist participants with their hotel accommodations. This is applicable if you choose to attend the optional preceding Barcamp on Monday, October 21, or if you prefer not to travel on the morning of Tuesday, October 22. Kindly advise if you would like to take advantage of a room block for hotel accommodation on Monday 21 October.
